Wrinkle Relaxing Injections

Botox® is now licensed for the treatment of crows feet and the glabellar area ( the frown area, across the forhead). By using micro quantities facial muscles are relaxed for up to 3 months in turn removing the appearance of these dynamic lines, which worsen as we age. Botox® is non systemic and therefore does not pass into other parts of the body.

This injectable treatment should be relatively pain free and last between 3 and 6 months. Side effects are rare, the most common being bruising. Again this is unusual but as with any injection can happen and will quickly resolve.

Botox® or Azzalure® are the two commonly prescribed toxins. These toxins have been used safely since the early 90’s, and are now widely used for medical as well as cosmetic indications.
